I remember when Beth was expecting Wendy, everyone was so excited when she finally came into this world. She really was a wonderful baby, she was so happy. I remember going to the house and holding her when she came home from the hospital and the excitement when I was finally able to baby-sit and take care of both Wendy and Karen at the same time. Wendy adored Karen, she looked up to her big sister and Karen loved Wendy. Now that I have two daughters of my own, I can see even more the bond that was between Wendy and Karen as little girls. I don't remember every seeing the girls fight with each other, they were very different, but they brought out the strengths in each other. Wendy truly was a free sprit, she was very creative and fun loving. Karen was always watching out for her little sister to make sure she was alright. I also remember her as one of the kindest little girls I have ever known. I think one of my best memories was dressing up as a Bunny for the girls one Easter. I am glad Wendy was part of my life. I know she a Karen were the reason I wanted to grow up and have two little girls of my own. Every year we have looked forward to getting the Christmas cards and seeing how the girls have grown. It is such a loss for all of us that Wendy is no longer here. But we will all remember her. Beth, Gene and Karen I am so sorry for your loss.
