I am so impressed with Wendy's ability to draw such a varied and amazing group of people together.I had the opportunity to meet so many of Wendy's friends from college and other walks of life this weekend.I must say she would absolutely love that we had all come together to celebrate her. That is exactly what it was, a celebration. My tears turned into smiles when we all began to tell our stories. I loved that people were dancing to Prince and the neighbors called the cops to break up the "party" at Ashley's. I was thinking at the time,"this isn't really a party". But you know it was. It was Wendy's party and she was most certainly there and loving every minute of it. Wendy has so many great stories and the time I spent with her was full of laughter and silliness. The best part about Wendy were the hugs she gave. I want to continue to write things about my time with Wendy as I remember them. That way I will always be thinking of her.I want to express my deepest sympathy for Wendy's family, I thank you so much for giving her to us all. She is a star.
