I met wendy when we were little little girls, I think about 5 or 6. She, Leah Pendleton, and I played together and shared many good times. I hadn't seen her in years, and was shocked and sadened by this senseless act of violence. I have read her sample writing and seen some of her brilliant artwork, what an amazing being. I am so sorry that this happened to such a wonderful soul, and my thoughts are with her family.
