One remarkable thing about Wendy was certainly how many sides to her there were.... She could be driven, affectionate, sweet, sarcastic, and even at times a little morbid.... One year, Wendy and I were slated to go to a formal togather with our dates, I think maybe JSB, and we, of course, wanted to do something a little out of the norm for that kind of scene... I just remember sitting on the bed while Wendy LASBORED over my hair, fashioning it into a long, auburn noose. What a bizarre and hilariously twisted idea for a Dallas formal event! The vaguely disturbed expressions on the faces of the party chaperones were all Wendy needed to know that her masterpiece was a grand success. I don't even remember if we enjoyed the party, but I do know that we returned to Wendy's house that night and fell asleep with those grins that can only come from knowing that you've managed to raise a few carefully tweezed eyebrows......
Wendy was and is a boundless spirit who will undoubtedly remain an enourmous source of joy and comfort to all who loved her. My prayers are with you Karen, Beth, and Gene
