I used to call Wendy that - I have no idea why. It just kind of fit. One of my favorite things to do with Wendy was to play dress up. We would get into these strange outfits and then actually leave the house. My favorite time was when Wendy decided I needed to put on a wedding dress and go down to Deep Ellum to our favorite coffeehouse, City Java. I have no idea why we did this, but it was hilarious. Another time, we all dressed up and went to IHOP. I specifically remember Wendy in army fatigues. I had this six-foot tall stuffed clown, and we brought him in and made the waitress treat him like a person, place setting and all. One of us, upon walking in, said, "I'd like your best table for five, please," even though there were only four real people there. For years, all we had to do to crack each other up was to say that phrase.
