I was thinking about Wendy a lot this weekend because I graduated from U.T. after a long and sometimes frustrating college experience. Wendy was one person who I could absolutely relate with when it came to college. I would see her on vacations and we had a running joke about what schools we were currently at. She started off in NYC and found herself in Austin and then eventually in CA. I went from Virginia to Miami, FL. and then ended up here in Austin. I don't know which of us attended more schools( there may be a few in there I am missing) but I do know that she would agree with me in that it was a valuable and exciting experience to live in so many places. I was so happy to hear that Wendy had found the right place, finally - and boy do I know that it can take some time! I feel that we both were able to go out there, and see what the world had to offer and both of us found what we were looking for. Although I hadn't seen Wendy since last Christmas- I had kept up with her through friends and knew that she was having a blast and loving school.During those confusing and chaotic years of college I always felt comforted knowing that I was not the only one who had a difficult time trying to figure out where exactly it was I belonged.
