I went to see Wendy today with Elizabeth and Carrie, and it was kind of wonderful. I encourage people to go when they think they can. I had been to visit earlier this week, and I was expecting a total breakdown. Instead, it made me realize all the other places I've been starting to feel Wendy again. Slowly, but still...I'll take what I can get, ya know?

I want to thank the two of them for going with me. A lot was learned and discussed today...nothing profound. Just holes filled in. Of course, I can't remember a single one just now. Figures.

But I did love looking around the graveyard to meet her neighbors, so to speak. There was a gravestone with a pagan symbol on it. You know there's a story for her to get into there! And there was the couple that must've been married for about 40 or 50 years and then died a month apart. Make up your own story, but I have mine, and it's really sweet.

I also have this very distinct image of Wendy waking up everyone around her and getting right up in their faces and asking them to tell their stories in that openly, honest, inquisitive way that she had.

I'm about to put up another post. It will contain two poems. Please read them. Especially the one that I think sounds like it is in Wendy's voice. It is beautiful.

I'd say Happy Holidays, but I think Happy As Possible Holidays is more like it.

All the best, Josh Einsohn TxJoshInLA@aol.com
