some of you know...some of you don't...but i am in maryland serving a ten month term of national service in americorps n*ccc. why this matters to anyone is this: i am getting to introduce my wonderful friend wendy to all of these super rad new people that i am meeting. i have a picture of wendy in my house and everyone who comes over asks, "who's this?", and i get to tell them about my beautiful wendy and how she filled my life with love and excitement. it is so nice to get to remember how much she affected my life and how many memories that i have which include wendy. i hope that you are all continuing your friendships with wendy and enjoying them to the fullest.
before i left i had the great pleasure of letting balloons fly from my balcony in seattle for her birthday. beth: thank you for calling me and talking. it helped me sort my jumbled feelings and i hope that i was able to send my love and hugs across the airways back to you. honey gene: i hope that valentine's day was good to you...know that we all are sending our love to all of your family.
