We fly out to LA tomorrow for the closing on Saturday night of the play Karen is in and to join in the graduation program for Wendy at Occidental College. Many of Karen's and Wendy's friends and our friends will join us. We are all so appreciative of the support that friends, family and the college have given us. It is not easy to step forward and walk with us on this journey. It takes courage. We recognize that and thank you for that courage! You all know that Wendy would be the first to be there to help someone so all of you help to carry on her spirit. Wendy was so excited about the prospect of graduating that we are going to try to celebrate on Sunday. Through our tears, through our sadness, throug our pain -- we celebrate what she did accomplish on this earth and we will continue to help her legacy go on! Wendy might say "mom -- your getting mushy again" -- but I know in my heart she would want us to be proud and to be happy for what she did do in her short stay on this earth. Wendy should be with us this weekend -- and I have faith that she will be! Hugs all around this Saturday and Sunday to all! Love from Wendy and Karen's very proud mommie forever and ever!
