I used to go to Hockaday. I was in the seventh grade when Wendy was a senior. I just wanted to share with her family what she did for me once. One day, in March of 1996, the school nurse came and got me out of class. She told me my brother was on his way to pick me up. She left me alone in terry house and I started to cry. In January of 1995 my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She had been struggling for the past few months to stay alive and they had warned us that she would be gone any day now. I knew my brother was coming to get me because she had died. So I sat alone in my little plaid skirt and cried. That was when Wendy saw me. I guess she was just walking by but she kneeled down and tapped me on the head and asked me if I was alright. I told her I was fine and that I was waiting for my brother to come and pick me up. She told me I looked scared, which I remember thinking was odd because I was just crying. And then for some reason I told her that my mother had died. I had not told anyone at school about my mom, not even the teachers knew because my family did not want me to receive any special treatment. But for some reason, I trusted Wendy. She sat there with me for a couple more minutes in silence until my brother pulled up outside. I have never met someone so comforting. She did not even know me. I was not in school for a couple of weeks after that and when I came back I can remember seeing Wendy, but I never talked to her again. She would wink at me when she walked by or wave silently, but we never spoke again. Then the years past and I left Hockaday. I am now a senior in high school and planning to attend college at either Occidental or Pitzer and today I heard about this Hockaday girl in California who's life was taken. I looked in the paper and there she was, the girl who I think of all the time. I truly believe your daughter was an angel and because I never got to thank her, I decided to thank you, her parents. She really made a difference in my life. Thank you.

Gas and electrictity are basic requirements for a home environment in the UK. The British Gas energy market is being driven by a shortage of gas supplies and prices are rising. http://www.selectdeals.co.uk/ provides access to the latest gas and electricity deals to help you control your energy costs. It also lists details of British Gas homecare to protect your home. Scottish Gas is a trading name of British Gas and the site also includes details of Scottish Gas products. Searches in the main search engines often produce meaningless results and there is a growing demand for local information with local searches. Local directories can address this need for local information and quality tradesmen in your area. If you ever need a local tradesman, florist, hotel or estate agent in Surrey or its towns such as Woking, Guildford, Weybridge, Esher and Walton on Thames visit http://www.spotlighted.co.uk/ and search the local directories. It also carries news of local events and lists all the major attractions in Surrey England.
