I had my cards read last night, and my second question was "How is our family going to heal from this tragedy?"
While the reader was shuffling the cards, and mind you she had already read for two of my friends and my first question, and was pretty handy with the shuffling, two cards flew out of the deck, The Cherry and The Ring. The reader asked if there had been a death in the family and said that these cards were a message from Wendy. She said that they are two circle cards that represent wholeness and the circle of life, and that Wendy was telling us that she is still with us, so we don't have to say goodbye, but also that she wants us to heal and be happy again.
When the reader dealt the cards, the past cards showed that Wendy was a highlight of our family, and the present card was The Pearl, showing that she is still an important and central part. The Robe also turned up, again suggesting Wendy's strong presence. The future cards included The Star, suggesting that Wendy will continue to guide us from Heaven, and that we should still talk to her whenever we want to.
This reading was very comforting to me, and when I told Mom about it this morning, I cried, which because it is hard for me, is a gift. No matter what you believe, I thought you would like to know. Because this message is for you, too.
