Today just hurts. Last week, I went to a rally against small arms and light weapons. I work across the street from the UN, where they were having the small arms conference. Wait, let me explain that "small arms" are technically any weapon that can be picked up and carried. I didn't want you to think that I was discriminating against the extremities of little people. Anyway, so I went to this rally, and it was SO HARD. All these people were there talking about how they had been affected by handguns. There were representatives from several countries, all affected by violence. It was just awful, but it was great to see all the people working to end violence everywhere. I think I am too emotional to be very descriptive. I'll post more later.
